This Safeguarding Children for Education (Advanced) course is intended for people who work in the Education sector who make or who could potentially make onward safeguarding referrals to the police and Children’s Social Care.

This was an excellent refresher, which emphasised the importance of regular and frequent reviews to sharpen in- house processes and procedures. I found the course on Chronology particularly useful in terms of day- to- day practice.

I particularly found "How to ask questions" and "Recognising and avoiding dangerous practice" very helpful - I am always concerned about talking to the child and to the parents and this advice was clear
