Made up of eight modules, this course opens by defining what each of these terms means, before considering what the experience might be for sufferers of each different condition. It’s important to have a good grounding in the key areas of mental health, dementia and learning disability. This course addresses each of these topics separately, along with presenting strategies that allow professionals to help these individuals to live as they choose.
You will learn about the support needs of those with learning disabilities, dementia and mental health issues and develop a clear understanding of what related legal frameworks currently exist.
